Sheila's grandfather, Rev. Captain Dr. William "Andrew" White, a leader of  No. 2 Construction Battalion during the First World War, and his children, went on to accomplish incredible things in their lives as Canadians.  Sheila tells the fascinating tale of family members who are nationally recognized persons of historic interest, including Portia White, the famous Canadian contralto who achieved world fame in the 1940s and Sheila's late father Bill, a decorated humanitarian.
