I protected my parents' home in Toronto (Agincourt) using the Ontario Heritage Act. 
Here you can read the City report that was unanimously approved by Council. I provided a wealth of archival material and full cooperation to staff for the preparation of this report.

My maternal grandfather, Glenn Keeler, wrote an account of his participation in World War 1 from diaries he kept during his time of service.  My mother transcribed his writings for posterity.

As a preacher and community leader, my nationally recognized grandfather, Rev. Capt. Wm. Andrew White, received a lot of good press back in the day.  Here's a news account from 1917, followed by the story about his funeral, how people lined the streets to pay their respects.
